Digital checklists inside the Takt Visualiser and the new UI.

Construction success depends on disciplined, repeatable processes. Our refreshed Takt Visualiser now brings digital checklists straight into your daily planning, embedding control where the work actually happens.

Why This Matters

Checklists are more than reminders; they are verifiable proof that safety measures, quality controls, and contractual steps have been met. By placing them inside the planning view, we remove paper trails, boost accountability, and give teams confidence that nothing vital is missed. Expect fewer surprises, smoother audits, and stronger client trust.

What’s New?

Key Capabilities Introduced:

  • Intuitive Checklist Forms.

  • The Property Panel now includes flow-guided checklists linked to specific statuses and critical actions for enhanced user guidance.

How It Helps

Project teams see immediate readiness, ensuring work begins only when prerequisites are satisfied. Site supervisors follow clear, standard steps, reinforcing safety and quality without extra paperwork. Executives gain structured data for trend analysis, reducing risk and cost across future jobs.

Example Use Cases

  1. Pre‑pour validation: A supervisor opens the ‘Pre‑pour’ checklist, confirms formwork inspection and mix approval, and the task turns green in the planner.

  2. Final hand‑over: The quality team shows the client a completed final inspection checklist, closing out snags on the spot.

  3. Safety insight: A health‑and‑safety officer reviews weekly checklist data, spots recurring PPE omissions on one crew, and arranges targeted training.

Key Considerations & Caution Points

‘Reschedule’ status is checklist-free for now Any checklist you attach to a task flagged as Reschedule will not fire until the forthcoming rescheduling feature is delivered.

Table View still lacks a Checklist column For checklist progress, use the Takt Visualiser or task detail drawer; a dedicated Table View column is earmarked for a later update.

Process Manager visibility gap Checklists assigned via the Approver Flow are presently hidden from approvers. Until the fix rolls out, confirm completion through the task record itself.

Audit trails remain intact Even where the UI does not surface a checklist, each tick is stored in the task history and will migrate automatically once the new views arrive.

Express workflow consideration. The Checklist workflow is bypassed when using the Express workflow.
