We're back with the exciting new updates!

### 🌟 Rule-Based Checklists: Every Matching Task Gets Its Checklist

Keeping the right checklist on every task takes constant attention, and on a large programme it's easy for a task to slip through without one. With Rule-Based Checklists, you define rules on a checklist and it attaches itself automatically to every task that matches. Quality gate sync ties those checklists to progress, so a task's quality gate opens only when every required response on it has been approved. Set the rules once and each matching task carries its checklist, with the quality gate showing whether its approvals are complete.

### 🌟 Checklist Sequences (Beta): Inspections in the Order the Work Happens

<figure><img src="https://3050506622-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FbjtQ0wszFNgKODk1v5uZ%2Fuploads%2F7k7BYgo27edS5DJyHArC%2FChecklist%20Sequence.png?alt=media&amp;token=cce2f1c7-4576-4ed0-9be9-8b46e9e64acc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Many inspections happen in stages, and each stage only counts once the one before it is complete. Checklist Sequences let you chain checklists into an ordered set of steps that must be completed in order, such as pre-pour, pour and post-pour checks on a slab. Each time you start a sequence it becomes a run, listed with its progress and the detail of every step. If an element fails along the way, you can split it out of the run so it continues separately while the rest move on, and you can export a whole run as a single PDF. Checklist Sequences is in beta, and we're collecting feedback for the next updates.

### 🔨 Improvements

**Element Breakdown Structure**

* [ ] Define a tree of the project's physical elements and record quality work against each one.
* [ ] When filling a checklist, pick the element it applies to.

**Zones**

* [ ] On projects that work in zones, the zone now carries through filling, approvals, snags, NCRs, emails and exports, so every record shows which zone it belongs to.

**Approvals**

* [ ] When you complete or approve a response or a sequence step, nominate exactly who receives the next stage or step.
