# NCRs, Ready to Share: PDF Export, Copy and User Assignment

Release 6 gave non-conformances a formal home. Release 7 makes NCRs easier to share, faster to raise and clearer to own. You can now export NCRs as PDFs, individually or in bulk, copy an existing NCR as the starting point for a new one, and assign specific users to an NCR and to each of its stages. Checklist PDFs also become a complete record, now including the snags raised and the full history of the response.

#### Why This Matters

A non-conformance usually has to leave the system at some point: sent to a subcontractor, attached to a client report or filed with the project records. Without an export, that means copying details by hand. Recurring non-conformances mean re-entering the same information each time, and unclear ownership of each stage slows the review down. The same goes for checklists: a PDF that leaves out the snags and the history tells only part of the story.

#### What's New?

* **NCR PDF export.** Export a single NCR as a PDF, or export many at once as a ZIP file.
* **Copy an NCR.** Use an existing NCR as the starting point for a new one.
* **User assignment.** Assign specific users to an NCR and to each of its stages.
* **Complete checklist PDFs.** Checklist PDFs now include the snags raised and the full history of the response, so one export gives you the complete record.
* **Choose who's next.** When you approve a response, you can choose who receives it next.
* **Snag side panel for admins.** A new side panel lets admins review and act on snags.
* **A redesigned dashboard.** The dashboard has a new layout and a site weather widget.
* **NCRs in Power BI.** NCR data is now available to Power BI reports, including stage and page names.

#### How It Helps: Three Example Use Case Scenarios

A Quality Manager needs to send a set of NCRs to a subcontractor. They export them together as a ZIP file and send one package, instead of compiling the details by hand.

A Site Engineer finds a non-conformance similar to one raised last week. They copy the earlier NCR, update the details, and assign the specific users responsible for each stage, so everyone knows exactly what they own.

A Project Manager preparing a handover pack exports the checklist PDFs. Each one now includes the snags raised and the full history of the response, so the pack carries the complete record without separate attachments.

#### Key Considerations & Caution Points

**Single or bulk:** export one NCR as a PDF, or several at once as a ZIP file.

**Assignment at two levels:** users can be assigned to the NCR as a whole and to each of its stages.

**Fuller checklist PDFs:** checklist PDFs now include snags and the full response history, so exports contain more than before.
