# Release 2.0 2026

We're back with the exciting new updates!

### 🌟 Quality on Mobile: Checklists Signed Off on Site

The Quality Module came to site on 29 January 2026 with the VisiLean mobile app. Inspectors and approvers can now list, search, fill, view and approve checklists from their phones, completing and signing off inspections where the work is rather than back at a desk. Release 2 also adds automatic email notifications, sent when a checklist is filled, submitted, approved, rejected or reopened and when it reaches its due date, so people hear about a checklist when it needs them rather than the next time they log in. Approver history now records who reviewed each response, when, and what they decided, and any checklist can be copied to give a new one a head start.

### 🔨 Features & Improvements

**Mobile App**

* [ ] List, search, fill, view and approve checklists from the mobile app. Inspectors and approvers can now complete and sign off checklists on site without going back to a desk.

**Notifications**

* [ ] Automatic emails go out when a checklist is filled, submitted, approved, rejected or reopened, and when it reaches its due date.

**Approvals**

* [ ] Approver history records who reviewed each response, when they reviewed it, and what they decided, giving you an audit trail for every sign-off.

**Checklist Authoring**

* [ ] Copy an existing checklist to use as the starting point for a new one. Repeat copies are named automatically ("Copy", "Copy 2", "Copy 3") so they don't clash.
