# Release 1.0 2026

Introducing the all-new Quality Module!

### 🌟 The Quality Module: Checklists from Build to Sign-off

The Quality Module went live on 7 January 2026, bringing the full checklist cycle into one place. You build a checklist from pages, questions and approval stages, assign it, have it filled in on site with photos and files attached as evidence, and send each response through as many approval stages as your process needs. Every edit to a checklist creates a new version, so responses already submitted keep the version they were filled on and past records are never altered. Approvers can reject a response with a note explaining what needs fixing, closed responses can be reopened for rework, and a dashboard shows pending, approved, rejected and overdue work at a glance. Quality inspections now follow one traceable route, from the first question to the final sign-off.

### 🔨 What's Included

**Checklist Authoring**

* [ ] Build a checklist from pages, questions and approval stages, so the form and its sign-off route are set up in one place.
* [ ] Every edit to a checklist creates a new version. Responses already submitted keep the version they were filled on, so changing a question later doesn't alter past records.
* [ ] Edit, deactivate or delete checklists as your inspection process changes over the life of the project.

**Filling Checklists**

* [ ] The assigned person answers the questions and submits the response.
* [ ] Save a part-finished checklist as a draft and come back to it later, for inspections that can't be completed in one visit.
* [ ] Attach photos and files to individual answers as evidence.
* [ ] Open any submitted response to see exactly what was answered.

**Approvals**

* [ ] Each response moves through a configured chain of approval stages.
* [ ] Approvers can reject a response and add a rejection note explaining what needs fixing.
* [ ] Reopen a closed response to send it back for rework.

**Settings**

* [ ] Groups: create a named group of people and assign it to an approval stage instead of naming individuals, so a change in site staff means updating one group.
* [ ] Tags: create tags, assign them to checklists, and find checklists by tag.

**Dashboard & Admin**

* [ ] The dashboard shows counts of pending, approved, rejected and overdue work.
* [ ] An admin listing shows every checklist and response in one view.
