# Introducing Trade Colour Visualisation: Clarity Like Never Before!

We’re excited to unveil **Trade Colour Visualisation**, a powerful new feature designed to simplify and enhance your task management experience in VisiLean. This feature introduces a dynamic toggle, enabling users to switch seamlessly between zone-based and trade-based colours in their 2D views.

#### What Does It Do?

With Trade Colour Visualisation, you can effortlessly identify which trades are active in specific zones at a glance. The toggle transforms the way zones are displayed, highlighting each area with colours representing assigned trades. Whether you’re reviewing a single trade’s tasks or overseeing overlapping trades in a zone, this feature provides a clear, concise view of your project’s workflow.

#### Key Features

* **Wireframe Mode for Unassigned Zones**: Zones created in this mode will remain in wireframe until they are assigned, providing a clear visual distinction for unallocated areas.
* **Visual Consistency**: Ensure that unassigned zones are easy to identify, helping you manage and allocate tasks effectively.
* **Simplified Zone Creation**: Create zones seamlessly while maintaining the flexibility to assign them later without disrupting workflows.
* **Multi-Trade Indicators**: For zones involving multiple trades, we’ve introduced visual indicators, ensuring you’re always aware of shared responsibilities.
* **Uncoloured Zones**: Zones without assigned trades remain uncoloured, helping you focus on active areas without unnecessary distractions.

#### Why It Matters

This enhancement is designed to improve your visual understanding of task and trade allocations, enabling faster decision-making and smoother collaboration across teams. Imagine a construction manager quickly identifying trades operating in specific areas during a progress review or a planner verifying trade allocations at a glance. The efficiency gains are immense.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://changelog.visilean.com/changelog/release-9.0-2024/introducing-trade-colour-visualisation-clarity-like-never-before.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
